I cried. But he looks awesome. So does Demon Baby. Noncomformist, cool Oldest Son . . . chopped it all off today. He's still gorgeous.

I love that look on Demon Baby's face just as he's about to get the haircut and the crooked smile afterwards.
They both look gorgeous both before and after. I imagine Rocker Boy will be feeling about for his hair for a bit - trying to flick it out of the way, trying to run his fingers through it. It must feel really strange to go from so much to almost zero.

They are. They're killin' me . . . with exhaustion. But they are great, great kids. It's just, you know, FOUR of them. One of me. I'm hopelessly outnumbered.

FUNNY, you should say that. I never, ever thought so. I always thought they "took" after the Mexican side, with the very, very dark eyes. And in summer, even slathered with sunscreen, they turn brown. By end of summer, they won't look like that at all. But with his hair all off . . . all my family now says he looks like me, and I see it now.

I've always let my son do whatever he wants to with his hair. One time he experimented with bleach and ended up looking like Pony Boy from The Outsiders, but he usually gets a crewcut like your guys. I think they look great.

Baby Girl wants her nose pierced. But she's only 10, so she's going to have to wait. Right now, she satisfies that urge with wearing mismatched earrings and "poppin'" (aka "cool") sneakers. Rock and roll sneakers.
She went through a phase of wanting purple hair. Not sure what, besides the nose ring, she will try to convince me of next.

Wow! Cool buzzes for everyone! I just got mine cut, too. (I don't look cute as your guys, though.)
My favorite Eng. prof came back from the past Christmas break with a shaved head. Mind you, I'm in Western New York, so you know shaving your head in the winter is just plain nuts, but he said it was some sort of Buddhist cleansing ritual, or something like that. I don't know - he lost me soon as I looked at his chrome dome.

Seriously cute kids. And short hair is great for summer. I like to feel the stubble on the back of my head when it's really short.
Demon has a very expressive face!

LOL. He actually likes his hair short. Though last night he decided to put "gel" in it, and finding no gel, found a tube of toothpaste and used that.

I used to have hair an inche or two short all around. I grew it out when I had a month or so bedridden and couldn't get to my hairdresser's. I seriously LOVED it that short . . . was so easy to toss some gel in and go.
